This gallery was built because I found out that Flickr wasn't so great for presenting panoramas or other extremely wide images.
I followed the web design principle called progressive enhancement in building the gallery. It basically means that everyone can access the basic content no matter what the browsing conditions are. Those with more capable web browsers and connections can have a more richer browsing experience.
The photos were taken with the Olympus E300 and E3 digital SLR cameras and with the Zuiko 18-180mm f3.5-6.3 and the Sigma 18-50mm F2.8 EX DC MACRO lenses. The final images are stiched together from several photos and finally exported as Flash from Photoshop.
Rest of my photos are in Flickr because it is great and an easy-to-use image gallery (apart from presenting wide images) and a community service.
